Outdoor Education
Outdoor Education at 麻豆传媒视频
麻豆传媒视频 offers an extensive Outdoor Education (OED) programme that takes students on an exciting journey from junior school through to Year 13, providing a clear pathway in outdoor pursuits. By Year 13, Outdoor Education is a university-approved subject, opening doors to further study and careers in the outdoor sector.
Our students experience a wide range of activities, including whitewater kayaking, mountain biking, bushcraft skills, navigation, alpine adventures, sea kayaking, rock climbing, and caving. With three national parks on our doorstep, we make the most of our stunning natural environment while embedding tikanga M膩ori in all aspects of the programme, fostering a deep respect for and connection with聽te taiao.
Outdoor Education is about more than adventure鈥攊t鈥檚 about building life skills. Students learn teamwork, leadership, planning, and organisation through real-world challenges. Risk analysis and decision-making are central to every activity, helping students grow into confident, responsible individuals. Along the way, they form strong friendships and develop resilience, independence, and a lifelong passion for the outdoors.
